Did Prince Philip fart?

Call it disrespectful, call it what you will. I think he did. Look at their faces. Priceless!

  6. the prince has farted before, and mark my words, he WILL do it again. UNACCEPTABLE!!!!

  7. when i was a lad, a royal would never dream of "cutting one" in public. their worst offense was the occasional imbreeding. how i long for those simpler times!

  8. It just shows the human aspect of things. Bloody tired of the uptight appearance, if you shoved a bit of charcoal up 'er arse you would get a better diamond than the 4 million quid one on her finger.

I think it's hillarious! I think it's about time we laughed for once!

  10. I'm at a total loss for words.
I wasn't aware that royalty farts
    as well. I don't know what I
    thought, it just never crossed
my mind that they had places on
their bodies just like mine that
    sometimes cry out independently.
    chortle chortle.

  11. If you follow just one face from
frame to frame, it's sooo much
funnier. Start far right and end
up with the Queen Mother. She's
absolutely about to choke and doing
everything she can to keep her
dignity. The wind must have been
    blowing her way.

  12. Now I'm wondering if this wasn't
    perhaps something else altogether.
That IS Prince Harry isn't it, and
he is a mischievous sort. Maybe
on a whim he gave Phillip a damned
    good wedgie and wasn't afterward
able to keep a straight face.

    I don't believe I've ever experience
royal gas. I wonder if it's anything
    like mine?

  13. Overheard by the Queen Mother:
"Well Phillip darling, no beans for
    you tonight,my little fart whisperer."

  14. Prince Harry should be the governor
of the world. What a real and wonderful
    lad he is.

  15. Folks, I can't believe that I, a yank, need to correct people here. That is not the Queen Mother. That is the Queen herself. The Queen Mum died in 2002 at almost 102 years old. Of course our stupid narcissitic president thought that an appropriate gift for this lady was an ipod with his speeches on it. From what I've heard it didn't even work correctly. Anyway, thanks for the giggle. Yes, everyone farts, poops, etc.

  16. Well thank you anonymous commenter above. Thanks for tarring us all with the same brush. One sweeping generalisation deserves another I suppose.

  17. I suggest that Princess Anne dropped the stinky, gassed poor Harry turned to mum to apologise, got ignored by both mum and dad and got chatised by Charlie. Unless of course, Harry was the culprit.

Hey anonymous Mexican. I am South African and I agree that Mexico is a lazy country filled with lazy people.

    Play nicely folks.

  20. I think Philip just made a funny noise out of the side of his mouth which started the others laughing, and the Queen wasn't amused.

@Cory J - How can poor Harry apologise to his Mum when she died in 1997?

I had also wondered why people were referring to the Queen as the Queen Mum...

  21. @Cory J - Sorry, just properly read now what you had written!

  26. Just a big kid at heart I reckon Philip is...probably did fart just cause he could in front of 100,000+ people....and you wonder where Harry gets his sense of humour from....

  27. Having caught a whiff of that sublime and royal fart, the "guilty party" was overheard muttering aloud, "Hmmm, I don't remember eating that!"

  28. The Royals have all the same bodily functions as we commoners. I'm sure Philip farted royally.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Yep. He dropped one for sure..hahaha

  30. Phillip looks to be the culprit, but at his age, anything can happen; particularly that unexpected fart. Who of us haven't at one time or other? It may be embarrassing, but it's natural, and accidents sometimes do happen, even to the best of us.

  31. This is one of the most hilarious photos I've ever seen! Why wasn't Prince William there to enjoy it?

I love how Queen Elizabeth's eyes turn Asian
when the wind shifts her way!
She is so uptight about her Royal image that she actually chose to whiff the 94 year old fart than to hold her nose and avoid it!
    Prince Harry's laughter is priceless!

  32. Wonder if a royal fart smells any different from that of a commoner? Lol...

  33. I doubt that Phillip deliberately let one fly. That odorous invisible vapor very likely sneaked out of his unsuspecting arse. Poor guy, lol. Nature can be nasty at times. Good thing they weren't all sitting inside among a crowd of people. That would have been even more embarrassing for poor Phillip. I once read that historically, some member of the royal court accidentally farted in front of the Queen. He was so embarrassed, he left court and didn't return until many years later. Hoping the Queen had forgot all about it, upon seeing him again, she said to him: "My Lord, I have not forgotten the fart." Now that is being bitchy, lol!

  34. a fart is a fart be it royal or commoner. it is the source of fun and stink at the same time.
